IT Director Manager

Kurai Bvumbi is an experienced software engineer who started his software engineering career more than 13 years ago while working in the financial technology sectors. He has experience working at every stage of the software development lifecycle including Agile software development, Software Testing and Development.

Kurai has in-depth experience having worked on projects in the private sector, public and education sectors. Currently he is leading the ASA Zimbabwe team as the IT Director, a highly focused and results oriented individual offering strong business leadership and a great ability to pursue goals to completion with achievement of great results.

A skilled professional, who possesses vast skills from Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, System development, Database Development, Analytics Management, Data Sciences, Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Report Writing. Kurai holds various IT qualifications and certifications among them a BSc Hons. Information Systems and currently studying for a Master’s in Business Administration.

Alain Mucyo

Software Developer

Alain is an experienced software engineer who has demonstrated expertise in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. He is a results-driven and creative problem-solver who is motivated to deliver exceptional results. He has a proven track record of extraordinary achievements, strong attention to detail, and the ability to finish projects on schedule.

Alain has a wealth of experience in various industries and has worked on different projects as a backend engineer, senior software developer, lead developer, and full-stack developer. His most recent experience includes designing and building scalable backend applications, experimenting and researching with technologies to improve performance and scalability,redesigning and rebuilding old codebases, performance testing, documenting and quality assurance.

In addition to his technical skills, Alain has also been involved in mentoring developers and introducing technologies and best practices to improve the performance of existing applications. He has also participated in the Andela Technical Leadership Program (ATLP) where he has learned to be a better team player, leader, and professional.
